Show Notes
First, Big Thanks to Maximiliano “Maxi” Frini for his excellent edit and mix of this episode…and his patience!
A Big Welcome to our newest patron, Bo’sun Cap’n Stephen…!
And thanks to all mah Patreon #HowNotToSailers who helped choose the title for this episode. (I gather Cap’n Dave West cast the tiebreaker.)

Morning at Moss Marina
I wanted to catch the radio call from the outbound Key West Express, but I missed it.
(Or did I? Hmmm… There’s actually a sécurité call from this vessel on one of my audio files, but there was something wrong with it. Like, it was garbled or somebody else was stepping on it.)
Why am I going on about this stuff? For the same reason I’m recording laundry. Listen to this episode to find out. (But start at the beginning with Episode One if you haven’t heard the previous ones!)
Of course we must have a map! This is the route from Moss Marina to Cabbage Key. Around St. James City is where the cursing took place.
Cabbage Key is a unique place…
I cannot confirm or deny if I’ve ever showered with a friend. At least, not until the statute of limitations runs out.

Breakfast with a View
Ah…the Island Breakfast.
Help Bob and Jody Rebuild
Bob Bitchin is the publisher of Latitudes & Attitudes, the magazine largely responsible for my “cruising problem.”
As reported in this podcast series (and as you may already know), Bob and his wife Jody lost pretty much everything in the “Bear” fire in California. (Ironically, one of the few things left was the statue of a bear in front of what used to be their home.)
If you’d like to donate to the GoFundMe campaign to help Bob and Jody rebuild the Bitchin Ranch, CLICK HERE. (The shortlink is HowNotToSail.com/HelpBob, in case ya wanna tell a friend.)
Thank You, Patreon Patrons!
Thanks to our newest Patreon patrons! You are providing the ammo, as it were, for me to spend more time on the podcast and less time on “making the doughnuts.” That’s a pretty tortured metaphor. But anyway, listen to this episode for a shout out to the poor souls we’ve most recently shanghaied. 🙂
