I sail east from Marathon toward Key Biscayne, Miami and the Miami Boat Show, stopping at Rodriguez Key near Key Largo and having the usual misadventures. Check it out…the official launch of the “real stuff” on the How Not To Sail YouTube channel! (You don’t have to subscribe, but hey, it’s free…and you’ll make a sailor happy!)
I’d love to hear your feedback in the video comments. (I could also use all the subscribes, likes, comments and shares I can get, btw… 😉 )
Watch On YouTube
You probably knew this…but to watch the video version of Episode 9, just click on the featured image above. (*If you want to leave a thumbs up, comment, etc., you need to click on “Watch on YouTube.) I’m not saying I’m going back to redo Eps. 1-8 as video versions—OR that every audio podcast will have a video compatriot. Instead, I’ll be having unique stuff like the unseen Bob Bitchin interview footage, my upcoming haulout and prop replacement (What could possibly go wrong?), and that kinda thing.
I expect the audio podcasts will continue to be more detailed than the videos (some things are better for each format), while the videos will have…video.
Looking forward to hear your feedback…and see you at the St. Pete Boat Show! (Dec. 7, for the cruisers’ party, God willing…)
How Not To Sail’s Craptastic (But Speedy & Privacy-Friendly) Podcast Player
So…if you listen to both the audio podcast and the YouTube video (if you’re crazy like that), you’ll notice that the audio podcast has whole plot points that are not in the YouTube version. I aim to keep each platform unique. We’ll see how that develops…and I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments! READ THE SCRIPT FOR EPISODE 9: EASTBOUND!
Pics And Such From This Episode…
Here is the Instagram post of the crazy-looking water near Toms Harbor in the Florida Keys. (Note…I’ve created a special new Insta profile just for How Not To Sail.)
The audio podcast has been going since March 2019, just after the Miami Boat Show. You can hear and subscribe to it wherever you listen to cool stuff: Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Pandora, Stitcher, Radio Public…you name it!
Everything listed here I use and love. Yes, I make some ducats if you buy via the links. Not everybody needs every piece of gear, so do your homework before dropping any bread…and hit me up in the comments if you have any questions! (I’ll be expanding this list…stay tuned! I have a lotta gear…)
