So while I was at the boat, I had the pleasure of hosting my friend Michael Helms, the host of the Location Sound Podcast. (And if you’re an audio professional, or just curious about what goes on behind the scenes in movie and TV production, I highly recommend checking it out HERE…)
But in honor of Michael’s visit, I’m gonna do something unorthodox…because we can.
So just to give you a sense of what the marina is like in the morning…here is a recording of the ambient sound from the marina. (It should sound best with yer earbuds or airpod thingies in.)
So grab your coffee…and here we go. I’m just gonna let it fade out at the end. So don’t fall asleep driving or anything.
(Of course, in true How Not To Sail form, we were having such a fine time on the boat…and at the waterfront…and the airport…that I forgot to take a photo of us. But here’s another one of Michael recording things near the water. Don’t blame him from *my* craptastic recording, though!)
