Sailing to Cuba

A little while back, we went sailing to Cuba from Key West, via Dry Tortugas National Park. Bradford recorded the adventure for his podcast The Multimedia Ninja. There’s actually a whole chapter in How Not To Sail.

From The Video

As mentioned in the video, great resources below.

Cruising Guide To Cuba, Vol. 1, by Capt. Cheryl Barr (2015)

Obviously a few years old, but a lot of great information. If you’re planning to cruise to Cuba, I’d definitely consider picking up a copy, and supplementing it with the latest requirements via Google and whatnot. This guide goes way beyond Marina Hemingway, with info on a ton of destinations and marinas around the largest island in the Caribbean.

Great stuff here as well!

How Not To Sail

If you want to learn how to sail a boat properly…Bradford is the wrong guy to ask! But after a few years of sailing the Florida Gulf Coast, he can definitely tell you a few things NOT to do!
